For more than ten years now, National Day is being celebrated every second Sunday in October throughout Italy. The day aims to promote the culture of diversity, fight prejudice, stereotypes, and low expectations, defend the rights of people with Down syndrome and promote their independence and full inclusion, to guarantee them a fair future.
