Working is crucial for people with Down syndrome, as it is for everyone. A job offers the possibility of earning a salary, being more independent, learning new skills, meeting people and feeling valued. Unfortunately, however, people with Down syndrome still face prejudice and a lack of opportunities. Research shows that the inclusion of a person with a disability in the workplace benefits not only the person concerned, but the whole company, with a positive impact on team spirit, colleague motivation and customer satisfaction. Diversity strengthens all workplaces and can set in motion a virtuous circle that makes the whole company grow.
